Terms and Conditions of Sale and Refund Policy

Please read these terms carefully to understand your rights, obligations, and the refund policy when booking with Wantotrip.

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the relationship between Wantotrip and any person making a booking through the website www.wantotrip.com. They define the rights and obligations of both Wantotrip and the traveler regarding booking, payment, cancellation, and refund procedures.

By confirming a booking on the Wantotrip website, the traveler acknowledges having read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these terms.

2. Booking and Payment

Any booking made on Wantotrip is considered firm and final upon receipt of payment, whether partial or full, according to the following conditions:

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the spot.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the deadline indicated on the trip page.
  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or any other payment method offered by Wantotrip.
  • In the event of non-payment of the balance by the due date, Wantotrip reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund of the deposit.

3. Cancellation by Wantotrip

Wantotrip reserves the right to cancel a trip in the following cases:

  • Insufficient number of participants,
  • Force majeure (natural disaster, epidemic, government restrictions, etc.),
  • Exceptional logistical or safety issues.

In such cases, the traveler will:

  • Be fully refunded within a maximum of 120 days, using the same payment method as the original booking, or
  • Upon request, receive a voucher equal to the total amount paid, usable for a future Wantotrip experience.

No additional compensation will be due to the traveler.

4. Cancellation by the Traveler

Any cancellation request must be submitted:

  • Via the traveler’s profile on the Wantotrip platform using the “Cancel” button, or
  • By sending an official email to sales@wantotrip.com.

The effective cancellation date will be the date recorded on the platform or the date the official email is received. Refund or voucher eligibility depends on the cancellation timing and payment stage.

More than 60 days before departure

  • 💶 Refund – €100 fee
  • or
  • 🎫 Voucher 100% after deduction

Between 40 and 60 days

  • ❌ No refund
  • 🎫 Voucher 50% after €100 deduction

Less than 40 days

  • ❌ No refund or voucher

a) More than 60 days before departure

Deposit only

  • 💶 Refund minus €100
  • or
  • 🎫 Voucher 100% after fee

Deposit + 1st installment

  • 💶 Refund minus €100
  • or
  • 🎫 Voucher 100% after fee

Full payment

  • 💶 Refund minus €100
  • or
  • 🎫 Voucher 100% after fee

b) Between 40 and 60 days before departure

No monetary refund. Voucher 50% of total paid after €100 deduction.

c) Less than 40 days before departure

No refund or voucher.

5. Refund Procedure

Refunds are processed using the same payment method (credit card, Stripe, etc.). Bank transfer refunds may require manual verification.

Maximum delay: 120 days.

Wantotrip is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party providers.

6. Vouchers (Credits)

  • Personal and non-transferable
  • Valid for 12 months
  • Remaining balance stays valid
  • Not exchangeable for cash

7. Processing Time and Liability

  • Delays by banks or partners
  • Losses due to exchange rate or fees
  • Force majeure situations
